Pictoria Vark is getting a better handle on living. The past few years have been a whirlwind for the Chicago-based bassist and songwriter. Her incessant time on tour in the last few years led to epiphanies, big and small, about how fleeting life is. The title of her second album, Nothing Sticks, states it plainly: that everything we try to hold onto whether it's a relationship, a moment, a career, or a way of life - will come to an end. In confronting these hard truths over the course of ten songs, she finds gratitude, heartbreak, acceptance, and ultimately, the strength to live life to its fullest.
