Tony Jupiter is a Chicano surf goth band formed in 2018 in El Paso, Texas. Known for their nostalgic surf rock riffs, haunting atmospheres, and explosive live shows, the band has quickly made a name for themselves in the underground scene. Their music blends the timeless sounds of surf rock with a dark, eerie edge, creating a genre-defying experience that captures the essence of both sun-soaked beach days and late-night haunts. This blend of Chicano culture and surf goth influences has allowed the band carve out a unique sound of their own. The band’s distinct payaso persona, inspired by Chicano clown culture “smile now cry later”, adds an unforgettable visual element to their performances.
